Apple’s over-ear headphones leaked in 2020
Thanks to leaked iOS 14 code that makes the apple’s rumors of over the ear headphones more of the reality.
Around two years ago, Supply chain analyst Ming-Chi-Kuo said investors that Apple is planning to launch high-end over-ear headphones that feature similar to Air pods.
Now we can have our first look at the design of these newly launched headphones before they are launched. Today two icons have leaked that represent light and dark version of Apple’s over-ear headphones.
Build and design
As per two discovered icons, we can get a clear picture of how high-end, over-ear headphones by Apple will look. iOS 14 code proves these glyphs that represent the unleashed headphones and also tells much about the operating system and other features including battery and charging status widget.
It is speculated that Apple is going to launch at least two color options for this over-ear version of Airpods and these are likely to be black or space grey and white.
These glyphs also provide us an idea about the size of each headphone and are also telling about the amount of padding on each cup and band.
Features and specification
We are expecting Apple’s over-ear, high-end headphones to have more features than Airpods. It is speculated to automatically pause and resume audio playback as you remove and wear them. It is expected that this device by Apple is going to borrow some features from Airpods like the similar seamless pairing process and will also offer you an auto-pause feature.
Apple is planning to launch the headphones soon. The rumors about high-end earphones have been since 2018 but were pushed back because of some developmental challenges.
